Magdalena Kirsch

Performer and Teacher

Mrs. Magdalena Kirsch is the vocal instructor, vocal coach and piano instructor at Motif Music Studio, West Carrollton.

With  the end goal of teaching professionally, Mrs. Kirsch graduated Summa  Cum Laude with her Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Performance from Wright  State University. She also holds an Associate Degree in Music from  Sinclair Community College where she also graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Mrs.  Kirsch had the wonderful opportunity to sing professionally with  Cincinnati’s own May Festival Chorus and the Cincinnati Symphony  Orchestra for three full seasons before taking a break to marry her  wonderful Husband. During this time, the May Festival Chorus made guest  appearances for the Cincinnati Pops and the Cincinnati Opera.

In  Dayton, she performed with MUSICA for their 2019 season before taking  an short break in her performing career to have her beautiful Daughter.

Before  following her career-long goal of teaching privately full time, Mrs.  Kirsch held the position of Choir Director at Emanuel Lutheran Church  for over three years.

At  sixteen years of age, Mrs. Magdalena Kirsch started her teaching career  teaching private violin lessons. After College, she accepted a teaching  position at Star City Music Studios where she became their primary  Vocal Instructor.

While a Faculty  Member at Star City Music Studios, Mrs. Kirsch performed for numerous  faculty recitals including a four-set recital of Spanish and Portuguese  Art Songs with Mr. Evan Fiehrer (guitar) and Mr. Aaron Mood (piano).  Mrs. Magdalena Kirsch and Mr. Evan Fiehrer (guitar) later performed two  sets from this successful recital for the Dayton Music Club.

Mrs.  Kirsch has, since then, become a Performing Member for the Dayton Music  Club. As such, she has premiered two works by Dayton composers for their  world premiers: "Sacrifice" by Rosanne Brown (2/19/2023) and "A  Shipbuilder" by John Parcell (4/16/2023).

Mrs.  Kirsch uses her performing experiences along with her 15 years of  teaching experience to empower her students and to help them live out  their musical goals.

In  2021, she was blessed with the opportunity to open her own private  studio, Motif Music Studio, in West Carrollton, Ohio where she lives  with her Husband and Daughter.

Every  year since, Mrs. Magdalena Kirsch has written and produced narrated  patriotic performances for Motif Music Studio. The music for these  performances changes every year (as each performance is created to honor  a different American historical event) and is a combination of  researched works from the highlighted era and new compositions by Mrs.  Magdalena Kirsch. (The Stories of Our Nation's Patriotic Songs, 2022)  (Water- The Great Influencer for Our Nation and Our Music, 2023) ("I'll  Remember" The Sacrifices of D-Day, 2024) ("Our Fallen Leaves" Ohio in  the Civil War, 2025) (Pens of Iron 250 Years of American Independence, 2026)
